Nan's Cottage Garden BOM

A 15 month BOM (block of the month) program, designed by Libby Richardson.

An applique centre block featuring a pretty cottage and surrounding stitched garden. With blocks around the quilt featuring cottage garden flowers, all stitched using DMC threads.

Libby's original design uses her water colour pencil technique, however our kit is designed to be stitched without the pencil colour. If you wish to use the prisma pencils, these will need to be self sourced.

The kit includes, pattern set (15 patterns), fabric to complete the quilt top, plus stitchery stabilizer and a mix of DMC threads and Cottage garden threads to complete the siticheries. Libby's original pattern uses Cosmos threads, however we have substituted DMC threads and varigated DMC threads in place of these.

Quilt size is approx. 48 inches square.

***IMPORTANT*** This is a 15 month program, and requires a 15 month commitment. The first month is priced at $80 plus postage, as it includes most of the cottons needed to complete the stitcheries, plus the centre fabric, stabilizer and pattern to begin.

The second to fifteeth months will be $25 a month plus postage. The last block will contain the borders and most of the fabric to complete the quilt, along with the instructions to do so.

A bonus pattern will also be included to make Libby's stitchery book.

Start date will hopefully be September some time.
